This parlor grand is presented in a traditional high-gloss ebony case with a round-arm cabinet and double moldings along the base. It rests on traditional window-pane-style legs and pedal lyre. The cabinet has been refinished in a deep ebony lacquer and hand-rubbed to a brilliant, mirror-like sheen.
Action and Touch
Has been fully rebuilt using dimensionally correct parts, including German Steinway wippens and new Hamburg Steinway Hammers. Precise regulation and voicing have been completed to deliver a light, responsive touch and a rich, full tone reminiscent of fine Steinway instruments. The keyboard has been fully restored with new keytops and key bushings installed.
Stringing, Plate, and Soundboard
The piano was restrung with premium music wire and copper-wound bass strings, wound onto nickel-plated tuning pins and set into a new, custom-fitted hard maple pinblock. A new soundboard, crafted from top-quality spruce, has been fitted to the case to ensure optimal tone and long-term stability. The cast iron plate has been expertly re-bronzed, and the brass hardware restored, leaving this art-case piano as visually striking as it is sonically refined.
